Geoscientist by background, Chiara is the Director of Research at Dii Desert Energy, a leading think tank in the MENA region advocating for an acceleration of the energy transition. Among her responsibilities, she maintains the Renewable Energy projects MENA database and the MENA Hydrogen Tracker (in cooperation with Roland Berger). Chiara holds a PhD in CO2 storage and she has several years of industry experience, notably at Shell with both office-based and operational roles. After Shell, she ventured out in the space of Digitalization and Machine Learning within a start-up before joining Dii Desert Energy. As a side project, she co-founded and currently manages Sportopolis.it, an online sport magazine with a wider focus on sustainability and energy transition in sport events.
