As a passionate supporter of new technologies and transformation, Olaf most recently served as President and CEO of Osram AG from 2015 to 2021.

Olaf adds a broad range of experience to INNIO Group based on his previous work in the plant technology, automotive, and semiconductor industries. He was the CEO of Exyte AG, ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG, and ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG-and was the CFO for Carl Zeiss AG. He started his career at IBM in 1988.

Olaf has a master’s degree in business administration and a doctorate in economics from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
