Emre Erdoğan holds an MBA from Koç University (2010) and completed a Strategy & Negotiation certification program at Harvard Business School in 2012.
He launched his career as a Planning Engineer at Bechtel–Enka (2001–2003), before transitioning into more senior roles within the Enka Group — serving as Project Control Manager and Business Development Manager between 2003 and 2009.
He then joined Statkraft, the Norwegian renewable energy major, where he spent nine years progressing through the ranks as Project Director, Assistant General Manager, and ultimately Country Head Türkiye (2009–2018). This tenure gave him deep exposure to large-scale renewable project development and cross-border energy investment.
From 2018 to 2024, Emre Erdoğan held senior leadership positions at Enerjisa Üretim, one of Turkey’s largest power generators — first as Assistant General Manager of Renewable Energy Power Plants, then as Chief Operating Officer with oversight responsibility across all generation assets in total 4GW capacity.
Since August 2024, he has been serving as General Manager of Çalık Renewables.
