Evren Aktaş graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from İstanbul Technical University in 2002. He earned his M.A. degree in Economics and Finance from Boğaziçi University in 2005.

Evren began his career in 2002 as a Cogeneration Systems Project Engineer at Borusan Power Systems and has worked predominantly in the energy sector ever since.

He has been working for Borusan EnBW Enerji since 2009, initially serving as a Project Manager where he managed several of the company’s wind power plant projects, and later as the Head of the Project Management Office. Since 2022, he has been the Power Plants Assistant General Manager, responsible for both the development and investment of new projects, as well as the operation and maintenance of existing facilities.

Evren is married and has one daughter.
