As Director of Application Engineering at Hithium, Sivaguru brings more than 20 years of international experience across energy storage and renewable energy, spanning technology development, systems engineering, technical leadership, project execution, and business development. An Electrical and Electronics Engineer by training, he has worked across South Asia, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with expertise in lithium-ion BESS, PCS, EMS, power electronics, VSG and grid-support functions, and advanced control systems. His project experience includes utility-scale solar PV and BESS, remote microgrids, energy infrastructure planning, and energy storage-enabled e-mobility. He brings broad practical expertise in renewable integration, grid stability, resilience, and energy management, complemented by experience delivering technical workshops and masterclasses for industry professionals. Prior to Hithium, he held technical and business roles with Masdar, Delta Electronics, and Parker Hannifin Corporation.
