Dr. Li Yalou, doctoral supervisor, serving currently as Chief Engineer of Power System Department in China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI), secretary General of National Short-circuit Current Calculation Standard Committee, senior member of IEEE, senior member of China Society of Electrical Engineering.

He has engaged to the research on power system analysis method and software developing over twenty years. He had successfully fulfilled several key research projects funded by Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) or State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC). He had published 152 thesis and 8 monographs, authorized over 80 invention patents. He won national scientific and technological advance first award for one time, provincial or industry science and technology awards 14 times.
