The Global Renewables Congress (GRC) is an international, cross-party platform connecting current and former Legislators and Members of Parliament to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy. Through peer-to-peer exchanges, capacity-building, and policy dialogues, GRC helps Parliamentarians identify and implement the legislative frameworks best suited to their national and regional contexts, recognising that effective energy transition policies must reflect varying technical, economic, and social conditions around the world. Community benefit and local value creation are central to GRC’s approach.

The GRC is a project of the World Future Council (WFC), a globally recognised non-profit committed to a healthy planet with just and peaceful societies for present and future generations. The World Future Council identifies, develops, and disseminates future-oriented policy solutions to the defining challenges of our time. Its Council of 50 outstanding global changemakers from civil society, science, politics, and business advises on and drives this work forward. The WFC holds observer status at the UN General Assembly and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and is a member of the IRENA Coalition for Action.
